Evoque Eco 110-40 Dark Finish Bamboo
NOTE- PRICE SHOWN IS FOR A TYPICAL DARK FINISHED BAMBOO SUPPORT CONSISTING OF A BASE MODULE AND ONE OF EACH OF THE THREE AVAILABLE SHELF HEIGHT MODULES (GIVING A TOTAL OF FOUR LEVELS OF SUPPORT). For 2017 onward, All Evoque base module feet have been updated to visually match the shelf modules. (See base module foot close-up picture). This upgrade will now allow a base module to be used as a shelf module if required.
The final cost is dependent on the number of modules required. Select the number, internal leg height and combination of modules and the total price will be calculated and shown in your shopping cart.
All Evoque Eco modular supports feature 40mm Carbonized Bamboo with a choice of three interchangeable leg heights capable of supporting equipment up to 30kg (66 lbs) per level. The black powder coated high gloss legs fitted to the shelf modules are equipped with twin A.S.I.S.T (Atacama Sonic Isolation System Technology) dampening gaskets and carbon steel studs with aerospace grade Aluminium grounding components matched to full adjustable nickel plated 8mm steel spikes. These components are designed to both dampen and then allow residual high frequency resonance reflection to be channelled away from the supported AV components so allowing them to deliver maximum performance.
PLEASE NOTE- As well as the 145mm, 195mm and 245mm standard inner leg shelf heights, a separate 300mm leg only accessory pack can be purchased separately. This leg pack is interchangeable with ANY of the standard height shelf modules (it is NOT interchangeable with a base Module).
Please contact the Atacama sales desk for more details regarding this pack.
Atacama’s high density carbonized bamboo gives significant major sonic qualities when compared to traditional hardwood and veneered supports, with its unique micro growth pore structure offering both excellent vibration absorbing and resonance controlling properties.
The production processes, layering, density and overall thickness have been specifically chosen to give the best possible acoustic results. However, please be aware that as bamboo is a natural material, there will be colour variations especially if adding an extra shelf module at a later date. Each bamboo module is selected, cut, finished and prepared by hand at the UK based Atacama factory so giving a stylish, modern appearance.
Being a grass, bamboo is one of the fastest growing plants on the planet that when harvested will continue to grow allowing a new crop every 5 to 7 years. Because of this fast renewable growth, bamboo absorbs very high levels of CO2.
All the Bamboo used is to Atacama’s own specification and sourced directly from one specific bamboo plantation.
No pesticides, herbicides or artificial fertilizers are in the growth cycle of the bamboo used for Atacama products.
Because of its fast growth rate and high CO2 absorption, when factoring in processing, manufacturing and shipping bamboo remains a Carbon neutral material.
The species of bamboo plant harvested in the Construction of Atacama supports is not a food source for humans or endangered animal species (Panda friendly!).
Please note: - Bamboo is a natural material so colour, texture, grain and age may give a variable appearance to each shelf. Because of this, adding an extra shelf at a later date will introduce a batch /colour tonal difference. Where possible order your Evoque as a complete modular support with enough levels to fulfil possible future requirements in order to minimize this variation. There may be some darkening of the Bamboo over time. This is normal and part of the materials maturing process. The colours shown in the photography are a representation in a well-lit photo studio under artificial light. Do not attempt to use these pictures to match with other woods and furnishings as batch colour, shading, room lighting and grain will be different.
Any number of modules can be used providing the maximum overall height of the support does not exceed 1255mm (50”).
All Evoque ECO supports are made in the UK.
