NOTE- PRICE SHOWN IS FOR A TYPICAL BAMBOO SUPPORT CONSISTING OF A BASE MODULE AND ANY COMBINATION OF THREE OF THE SHELF MODULES (GIVING A TOTAL OF FOUR LEVELS OF SUPPORT).

The 5 Star award winning Atacama Elite Eco 24 Reference series modular hifi support is a premium, attractive, semi-enclosed all-bamboo design, perfect for supporting a quality high end hifi system.  Featuring our new Three-Dimensional Advanced Vectored Resonance Deflection Channels (or 3D-A.V.R.D.C. for short!), the Elite Eco 24 Reference represents the pinnacle of Atacama furniture design.

Available in two colour options of natural bamboo or as a cost option, dark finish bamboo, the Elite Eco 24 Reference can support hifi components up to and including 80kg (176 lbs) per module, or a maximum completely assembled rack capacity of 250Kg (551 lbs), whichever is achieved first. A Vinyl Storage module is also available and can be purchased separately. (Please note, the base module is not required if the vinyl storage module is to be used).

So, what is 3D-A.V.R.D.C?

The 3D-A.V.R.D.C. function been developed and refined from previous Atacama award winning hifi furniture that included earlier versions of vectored resonance technology. This latest design is our most efficient yet. By including vectored resonance into all the main components of the rack (previous version only had channels cut in the underneath of the main shelves), improved control and efficiency has been achieved.

How does 3D-V.R.D.C. work?

3D-A.V.R.D.C. has been designed to help channel unwanted resonance away from the supported equipment. It does this by first directing mechanical resonance to the height supports via the shelf and legs grooves and cut outs, which in turn transfer this energy down to the adjustable floor brass/nickel plated isolation spike-to-cup interfaces discreetly positioned near each corner of the shelf modules.

These isolation spikes have the added benefit of creating a small slot on each side of the rack, allowing sufficient air flow around the supported hifi equipment to aid ventilation.

The vertical channels cut into the bamboo panels additionally help break up resonance energy in the form of standing waves which otherwise may deflect back to the supported equipment.

To help prevent feedback from the floor, each of the four feet assemblies fitted to the base module include a nickel plated inverted frustrum cone positioned between the bamboo and floor spike.

Any number or combination of three single shelf height options can be placed upon a base module or Vinyl storage module up to an approximate maximum height of 1524mm (60”).

IMPORTANT- PLEASE READ: -

Bamboo is a unique, natural material so will not match other woods. The colours shown in the photography are a representation taken in a very well-lit photo studio under artificial light. Do not attempt to use these images to match with other woods and furnishings as batch colour, shading, room lighting, natural variation, and wood grain will be different. Even the differences between viewing screen types will make colour matching impossible.

Colour variation between modules will be present, with growth and knot marks seen in the wood. This is part of the natural beauty of solid bamboo and will not be considered a fault. Every bamboo rack is a unique piece of furniture with its own natural aesthetic variations, which is what makes each individual module special.

As a (very!) rough guide, under normal home lighting conditions, typically Natural finish generally has a buttery like appearance with the Dark finish having a Dark chocolate look. THERE WILL BE VARIATIONS EVEN WITHIN THIS DESCRIPTION.

Atacama Elite Eco 24 Reference Series modules are designed and made in the UK.
