This optional Top Plate Pack provides a significant upgrade path for owners of Atacama SL and SLX series speaker stands, designed specifically to accommodate larger, heavier, or deeper speakers.
Key Features:
- Supersized Dimensions: Each plate measures 280mm x 300mm, offering enhanced stability and surface area compared to the 225mm x 225mm steel plates.
- Acoustically Damped Material: Manufactured from 10mm thick, precision-cut, Black impregnated High Density MDF. This material choice is less resonant than steel, contributing to improved sound quality and isolation.
- Installation Flexibility: The unique dimensions allow for a versatile fit—you can rotate the plate so either the 280mm or 30mm side is front-facing, meeting the exact depth requirement of your supported speaker.
- Universal Compatibility: Sold as a pair, this pack is compatible with all models in the Atacama SL and SLX speaker stand range.
- Suitable for many large bookshelf speaker types, for example MOfi Source Point 8 speakers.
Important Installation Notes:
- Height Adjustment: The MDF construction will increase the total height of your speaker stand by approximately 8mm compared to the original steel plates.
- Fastenings: The pack does not include new fastening bolts. Please reuse the countersunk bolts originally supplied with your Atacama SL / SLX speaker stands.
- Accessories: Isolation gel pads are not included and must be purchased separately if required.
